INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE. This is a position leading to a field sales representative role for the right candidate.
The main responsibilities:
Play a proactive role in searching new markets for existing products or new products for existing markets.
Build client awareness of which products and services best meets customer needs.
Coordinate customer needs to build profitable, long-standing relationships including: processing customer orders, interacting with Scheduling and Distribution departments when required, resolving service issues, obtaining shipping dates, tracing orders and providing proof of delivery.
Develop a competitive Database to contribute towards a successful sales strategy.
Play an active role in developing a strategy for the specific customer base with the Sales Representative and coordinating the selling function through the Sales Manager by integrating him/her as required to assist with profitable business.
College or University Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
Very strong written and spoken English. French would be an asset.
Able to meet proposal, bid and submission deadlines.
Strong multitasking capability.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is essential.
