We are seeking an innovative faculty member dedicated to student success, meeting the diverse needs of our students, and who functions well independently and in a team-oriented environment. Applicants should possess expertise in psychology and have a desire to work in a collaborative, learner-centered environment focused on student learning and success. Job duties include teaching assigned courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; participating in professional development to maintain competency in teaching and learning strategies; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance; evaluate level of achievement and assign course grades; assessing and improving student learning through program assessment processes; instructional development; advising students; and service to the college through one or more committees or work groups. Teaching assignments may include: both day and evening classes, potentially located on multiple campuses or high school and career center campuses, and online classes or hybrid classes. This position is a 9-month offer of employment and will begin August 2018. Summer term employment is not guaranteed, but may be offered based on summer enrollment and other academic needs.
