The One Stop Services Specialist provides direct student support in the integrated areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration and Student Records. The responsibilities of the part-time One Stop Specialist include greeting visitors to TC Central, assessing student needs and assisting with the check-in process, providing referral to appropriate areas of the college, processing service requests for students and the college community, and resolving issues to ensure seamless support from application through graduation. This position works varied shifts up to 25 hours per week between 7:30 am – 6:30 pm Monday – Thursday and 7:30 am – 2:00 pm on Friday.
Anticipated Hiring Range: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:Associate Degree; or High School Diploma and 2 years related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: The candidate should be adept at working in a challenging, high volume environment and have the ability to work independently and as a team member. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide accurate information in a concise, friendly, and approachable manner are critical. The employee should possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust communication techniques to serve diverse populations and strong ability to use of judgment, discretion, and decision making skills in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
