Req ID : 415387BR Job Code/Title : L1515:Facilities Engineering Mgr Job Description : Facilities Site Lead reporting into the Greenville General Manager. Ensures site, infrastructure, production and flight readiness for the Greenville programs and population. Responsible for the entire facilities life cycle from budget/site planning, design, construction, commissioning, maintenance and operations. Interfaces with a broad base of 500+ personnel to understand requirements for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Site. Out-briefs site management on the relative health of the site and corresponding risk mitigation activities. Interfaces as LM client with the site landlord to ensure compliance to lease. Manages a team of 18 LM employees supplemented by $2M annually of subcontractor services. Responsible for the site’s maintenance program of all company owned assets. Responsible for the training, performance assessment, and work assignments for staff members. Reviews work flow, engineering designs, assigns work to employees, monitors technical compliance progress in accordance with procurement contract dates, ensures construction/services/maintenance tasks are completed to drawings/specifications by required completion dates. Ensures all invoices are processed in a timely manner.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
Experience with facility construction, maintenance and engineering needs associated with an aging multiple building site.
Experience directing others in the execution of facility maintenance and modification tasks.
Experience with Ground Support Equipment maintenance and engineering requirements including preventative maintenance strategies, and scheduling.
- 14+ years’ experience managing the modification and maintenance of office, lab, infrastructure, test, production and flight/ground support systems.
- Understanding of life safety design/DoD requirements
- Experience working with Architectural and Engineering firms.
- Knowledgeable in construction/subcontract management.
- Knowledgeable in reliability-centered maintenance (preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance).
- Knowledgeable in the operation of boilers, chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, HVAC and power distribution systems.
- Experience developing budgets and estimating.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal experience.
- Preferred Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering Degree.
