The Creative Group is selectively seeking an E-commerce Digital Marketing Director to join our clients team. The E-commerce Digital Marketing Director is responsible for creating company web sites for existing and new customers. This E-commerce Digital Marketing Director will also be responsible for linking trading partners from all related industries to create a marketplace to transfer the procurement of products through the clients Portal and for taking direction from the Vice President to create/build company websites for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute strategy, participate in strategic growth initiatives, and execute the management of the company website.
Oversee day-to-day development, implementation and analysis of all web-related initiatives of the company.
Provide E-commerce strategy and innovation through quantitative analysis and thought leadership.
Develop amp; execute initiatives that support efficient and profitable web strategies that grow the business.
Evaluate, recommend and implement technical improvements.
Use advanced analytical skills to monitor site activity as well as diagnose problems and surface opportunities.
Use advanced analytic skills to craft critical objectives, strategies and tactics, and turn insight into action to drive results.
Communicate to executives the strategies driving E-commerce, a vision and roadmap for future growth, and provides ongoing status updates across initiatives.
Serve as subject matter expert for online commerce across the company.
Assist with periodic reporting (weekly, monthly) on performance.
Execute trend analysis, monitoring and competitive benchmarking.
Travel as needed 10 to 15%.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with an academic focus in marketing, E-commerce and/or business preferred
7+ years of experience in an online marketing role
Proficient skills in Company specific software (SAP Business One).
Advanced Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, BI tools.
A thorough understanding of the social media space.
Ability to understand and communicate key ecommerce metrics.
Proven project management of various scale eCommerce projects.
In depth knowledge of web analytics tools.
Strong knowledge of eCommerce best practices.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, with an orientation to details, at both the strategic and execution levels.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to create websites and write articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
