Description Robert Half Technology has a client in Alpharetta who is looking to add a Tier I/Tier II Help Desk specialist to their team. This is a contract to hire position with a salary expectation of $35-37k. This position will be 90% phone and remote support with 10% deskside support. Our client is in the medical industry and is continuing to grow/add people to their team. If interested, please apply and send resume to [email protected] Requirements Install, manage and maintain computer operating system and software to support business needs.
Deliver active and effective end-user support as required.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve computer operating and end user issues.
Manages on-boarding and off-boarding IT setup.
Resolve and respond timely to help desk tickets from end users.
Contribute to small to medium size projects in accordance with technology and business plan, budget and schedule.
Develop, implement, document and maintain processes and procedures for information security and integrity.
Analyze and present data to support cost-benefit and business use case proposals for technology improvements and to meet business requirements.
Conduct on-going research to support technology planning.
Ability to quickly analyze issues and information and provide solution alternatives.
Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
Experience researching technical issues and resolution implementation.
Experience with computer operating systems and applications.
Outstanding personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills related to both technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to work in a team or individually to provide assistance, instruction and training to internal clients.
Demonstrated excellent customer satisfaction results and focus.
Excellent initiative and execution.
Windows 2008 / 2016 servers, network and domain experience.
Relevant certifications are preferred but not required. Technology doesn’t change the world. People do.
