The Creative Group is selectively searching for an E-mail Marketing Specialist for our clients team. This E-mail Marketing Specialist will help support the growth of our business. The job of the E-mail Marketing Specialist is to execute our e-mail marketing campaigns from start to finish working with graphic designers, editing copy, deploying campaigns, and providing an overview of campaign performance results. The E-mail Marketing Specialist should be up-to-date on the latest e-mail marketing trends and current e-mail deliverability best practices. A successful E-mail Marketing Specialist candidate will be passionate about e-mail marketing, understand direct marketing concepts, and have a relentless focus on execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Support internal teams to create and execute data-driven, dynamic campaigns and deliver highly-targeted marketing campaigns, lead-nurturing campaigns, retention programs, and loyalty building communications by managing and executing day-to-day activities of retention email marketing efforts
Define/identify audience segments to support sending and list segmentation strategies.
Work with key email stakeholders and partners to compile content and assets to produce campaigns
Use promotional marketing calendar to coordinate with the Special Pricing and Offers team for a seamless execution of campaigns
Own the quality assurance process and scheduling of e-mail campaigns
Regular A/B testing of customer segments, content, and timing to improve metrics over time.
Compile, analyze, and deliver weekly email campaign report and insights to help improve future email campaigns including the optimization of key metrics including CTR, open rates, conversions, and retention
Optimize current e-mail templates for mobile
Stay up-to-date on e-mail marketing trends, deliverability best practices, and (CAN/SPAM) regulations
BA/BS plus a minimum of 3 years of hands-on email marketing execution, and analysis experience.
Direct experience in the development and execution of email programs
Programming language or Marketing automation experience a plus (prior Silverpop experience greatly preferred)
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet marketing deadlines.
You have a high degree of curiosity to improve email performance; you are analytical with the ability to organize and analyze large quantities of data, interpret metrics, and derive actionable insights; you are proficient in Excel (pivot tables and formulas)
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. You are highly collaborative and operate with integrity, confidence, and empathy
