We are seeking to fill the position of Radiology Technician in our Spartansburg/Skylyn office.

Compensation is dependent upon applicable job experience and education level.
Pedorm X-Ray and C"ARM and olher imagin8 diagnosis procedures as neded.
Patient communication and prepration ircruding removalof garments or jewelry that may interfere with proedure and explaining how the process works.
Set equipment in order to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged.
Position patients properly to obtain images for xrays and C-ARMs.
Practice preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
Prepare films for reading by physicians
Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to the process in order to help the physician diagnose problems.
Process records of radiologic procedures performed
File films and records
Assist technologists with preparing for diagnostic imaging procedures
Receive and store incoming supplies
Count stock and maintain inventory records
May perfor other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This also includes frequent use of hands or finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, keel crouch or crawl. The employee frequently is exposed to radiation and required to follow safety procedures which includes safety protection and monitoring.
The employee must occasionally lif and or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities requred by this position include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The poise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology training program.
Certified as an A.R.R.T. in South Carolina
Knowlege of applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures within specialty area.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
