General Position Summary
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install,
troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and
productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and
performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform machine set up prior to the start of a given shift.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic,
hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Excellent reading, organizational, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast- paced production manufacturing environment and meet deadlines;
Able to work with minimal supervision and be a team player;
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings
High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number
of years of education and production maintenance experience.

Work Experience Requirements
4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial
skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
Must be authorized to work in the United States or have the ability to obtain authorization.
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of

Work Environment Office / Manufacturing / Warehouse
Noise Levels Up to 90 dB in manufacturing areas
Conditions/Exposures Exposure to changing warehouse temperatures.
Tools and Equipment Used:
General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, handheld barcode scanner, phone
system, personal computer, etc.
Software includes the use of Windows OS, MS Office applications.
Hand tools and small power tools
Electronic equipment such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters and other electronic
