Who you are: The person we are looking for is an associate attorney, operating out of Buckhead. This person has litigation experience, excellent communication skills, is organized, detail-oriented, positive and a self-starter.

The position: This is a full-time insurance defense position, with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. The attorney will be responsible for:
- Preparing and drafting answers, discovery, and motions in litigated cases
- Interviewing witnesses
- Interacting with clients regarding all aspects of the claim/case
- Taking and defending depositions
- Negotiating settlements
- Performing legal and medical research

-Polished: Professional, positive, and upbeat attitude.
-Time Management and Deadlines: Manages workload, demonstrates the ability to prioritize assignments by meeting routine and unexpected deadlines; commits fully to the job and deadlines, and achieves the correct results efficiently. Willing and able to adjust to changing conditions or priorities.
-Decision Making: Recognizes when to make a decision independently and when to consult a partner.
-Ethics: Reaches decisions based on the highest ethical standards and demonstrates professional integrity. Fosters a culture of trust and respect for others by behaving in a fair and ethical manner towards others.
-JD degree and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia;
-Proven experience as a litigation attorney;
-Interest/Ability to properly handle a matter from start to finish
-Prefer medical malpractice experience;
-A solid understanding of brief writing and research
-3+ years of legal experience
