Flooring Sales and Design Consultant
A&D is a locally and family owned, values based and purpose driven business.
The position of Flooring Sales and Design Consultant combines the functions of Sales, Customer Service and Design Consultant.
This position requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making flooring choices according to their individual needs. The customer interaction could occur in one of our showrooms, in the customer’s home, at home shows or in the community. The objective is to provide a superior experience utilizing design and flooring advice that will enable the customer to make a purchase that will create a lifelong relationship with A&D.
Not only great people and selling skills are required for success, but also extensive product and design training is key. Possessing personal organizational skills insures delivery of superior experiences beyond the customers’ expectations. Personal networking within local community activities and the local business community will provide greater sales opportunities. Evenings and Saturdays are regular business hours for A&D.

Visit the customer’s home to greater determine the scope and potential of the project.
Be fully knowledgeable of the attributes, benefits and warranties of all the products we
Timely delivering customer service experiences that exceed the customer’s
Properly completing the sales process to insure an installation experience that exceeds the customer’s expectation.
Building client relationships
Networking regularly and prospecting for new business.
Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean.
Working with all A&D employees and representatives to achieve superior
Expanding knowledge of sales strategies and product knowledge
Using computer systems to maximize the resources of BayState Rug.
Daily learning of new selling skills, product knowledge, product use and design trends.
Gaining customer commitment.
